Syrinscape Master/Minion Combo Update

I would also love to beta-test this. None of the other ways to do this work as well as this sounds like it will work.

So do we have to be SuperSyrin before or is it like if we become a SuperSyrin at any time we can get into it?

You can grab a SuperSyrin whenever you are able and Iā€™ll loop you into the beta, as we slowly expand to more and more people.

Currently about 16.

THENā€¦ itā€™ll go live to everybody, and thatā€™s when every SuperSyrin will be able to run games, with Minions following them, and hearing what they play. :smile:

If I could be added to this beta fun, thatā€™d be awesome :slight_smile:

If you could get 3rd party integration running on a Macā€¦

@g0ntzal master/Minion will supersede 3rd party integration on MAC as it will work in an browser anywhere!

Regarding 3rd party integrationā€¦ It would be nice if we got a RESTful API along with URI launches. Something we could post a json payload with maybe search parameters to find/play sound/mood matching string returning results. Or payload with URI and volume settings to kick off several sounds etc etcā€¦

Iā€™d love to get in on the beta if possible. I run games with sound, both Windows and Mac, around once a week so Iā€™d be using it pretty regularly if it matters :smile:

Yes, I understand it, but trigger sounds from Fantasy Grounds would be more efficient. I find Minion UI not very friendly :frowning:

@g0ntzal Youā€™ll still be able to trigger sounds from within FantasyGrounds the same way as before (once we build that).

What donā€™t you like about the Master UI? This feedback is exactly what we really need at beta time. :slight_smile: Sooooā€¦ GO FOR IT! (maybe in a separate postā€¦ in the beta Categoryā€¦ I guess).

You canā€™t trigger sounds using 3rd part feature if you use a Mac :frowning:

The UI I would like it is the Syrinscape Player one (with the valuable Campaign feature).

We are reincorperating the campaign thing into the Master/Minionā€¦ coding it right now.

The intention IS to have 3rd party integration working for both PC and MAC. :slight_smile:

This is nice to hear Benjamin. Out of curiosity, is it going to operate the same way essentially (i.e. hit the gear, hit ā€˜enable 3rd partyā€™ and get the URL etc) or is the integration going to be handled differently?

If you get 3rd party integration working on Mac Iā€™ll be a happy customer. Campaigns being added is great!!!

@daxdoomslayer We are looking at building an actual proper API that will deliver the SoundSets and Moods and OneShotsā€¦ so the whole process will be WAY more easy-going!
