URI links not working locally

Hello,
so i’m trying to make the uri links working on my computer (with the Syrinscape Fantasy Player)
here is my situation and what i tried:

situation:
if i click on the app on a sound i hear it (that works)
now i copy and paste the uri link of the same sound onto Win+R and nothing happens, also tried it on a web browser: got a popup saying “would you like to open this in syrinscape app?” - said yes and also no sound.

what i tried:
disabled my firewall/antivirus.
launched the app as administrator.
re-installed the app.
reboot my PC.

i am a bit lost here, if anyone got any idea what’s the issue :slight_smile:

That’s a bit annoying.

Sounds like you are doing everything right… hmmm… Wanna share a vid of you actually doing it on support at syrinscape dot com and we can take a closer look?

Also… consider trying out this:

As it has a robust API that works via our server… and may not get stopped by whatever is stopping the URIs on your system.

there you go, i’ve sent the video.

i’ve already tested the online web player, everything works fine there.

i’m looking to get the local version to work since my aim is to get it to work through some triggers in Fantasy Grounds
