As some already may know, I’m also running (among others) a german LARP group. The last convention went down last weekend, and there was some kind of generic artifact that was to be found by its sound. So I whipped something together using “Disjunction Chamber” and “Preserver Artifacts”. We put the Bluetooth box in the artifact, started the sound… wonderful. Everything’s great.
The PC, however, took the artefact away for magical analysis and started their magical mumbo-jumbo. The artifact sat among all the 15+ pc in a magical circle, the eerie sound of the magical energies filling the room, and at the peak of thrill and anticipation a dark voice from the ether speaks out…
“LOW BATTERY. PLEASE RECHARGE.”
