Hello, I use Syrinscape Online player with Fantasy Grounds Unity. When I start off each session, it all works fine, but at seemingly random points it simply stops responding to commands. Usually, this happens after stopping an existing bit of music to try and play something else. It doesn’t show any errors, and still claims to be synced and linked. Does anyone know what might be causing this issue?
Hi @falco1029,
Welcome to the forums…
What makes it start working again?
Is something going to sleep? What device are you running the Online Player on?
Do you have the latest version installed?
Have you tried using the Web Player to play the sound instead?
All these questions and more!
Seriously though, give us a bit more info and we might be able to give you some more clues!
The only thing that makes it work again is if I close it and restart the program again.
Yes, I have the latest version, the web player isn’t an option due to some of my sound setup.
I do output it into a virtual cable, which is the only thing I can think of that’s different from normal, but I know it’s not a case of the output itself failing as the online player does not show the usual visuals it does when a track is playing, nor the waveform.
Still having trouble with this, even after reinstalling just about anything even tangentially related.
When it stops. Are the sound bar animation things still playing? As in, does IT think it is making sound?
Nope! As mentioned, it doesn’t show the visuals or waveform.
