Syrinscape Foundry VTT SFX on Dice result

Dice so Nice module for Foundry VTT let’s me add one single sound file to be played on a certain dice roll result. The game in question is a d20 system making die result 1 a fumble and 20 a critical success.
I would like to be able to play a set of randomized sound files for both kinds of results and was suggested in Dicord to try out Syrinscape. I have been a Syrinscape user for long time now and was thrilled to know that Syrinscape might be the solution on how to implement my idea in my game.
However,… I have no clue how to do this.
Can someone please verify if what i want is truly possible with Syrinscape and furthermore; if possible direct me how to do it or link me to some instructions.

Thank you

@salomonrune Yes, it is possible - but it is quite a chore to get it configured. Have you already installed and configured Syrincontrol in Foundry? Do you have a basic knowledge on how to create your own macros within Foundry? The latter is mandatory because otherwise you can only use local soundfiles to be played in Dice so Nice.

Basic rundown is (if you need it, i can elaborate further, but writing the complete step by step instructions takes some time):

  • Either use an existing oneshot or create a new oneshot that has the samples for one event (Roll X) you want to have played in it.
  • In the hamburger menu of the WP, select “Show Remote control links” and copy the link of the oneshot from the previous step.
  • Create a macro in Foundry, using that remote link, to trigger the oneshot.
  • Go to Dice so Nice/3d Dice settings/Special Effects and add a dice type.
  • Choose the result of the roll and choose “Execute: Custom macro” in the special effect column.
  • Choose the gear icon next to the execute command, tick the for all players check box and select the macro you created previously.
  • OK and save.

Now, whenever the result of the chosen dice comes up, the macro (in this case the oneshot) is automatically triggered.

Rinse and repeat for every dice result you need.
