Stuck on splash screen on iPad

Hi!

I have googled and searched the forum like a mad man without finding a solution for me. I have seen that others have the same issue but no clear way of fixing it.

The app on iOS for my iPad is stuck on the loading screen (or the splash screen).

Some info:

  • I have iPadOS 18.7.10
  • I have reinstalled the app like 3 times
  • I installed the Syrinscpae Online App as well to see if I had the same issue, and sadly yes
  • Uninstalled everything and reinstalled.
  • Installed the apps ion my Android phone to see if it was the same issue there, and sadly it was.
  • Uninstalled the android apps
  • I have “unblessed” all devices I had
  • I get no error, no login page or anything. Just stuck on the Splash screen

One small thing that maybe could be the culprit is that I actually used Syringscape for my first roleplaying session, like 10-12 years ago and never used it again so maybe there is some weird conflict?.

I am having the same issue using an android tab 9+.

  • force stop
  • cleared cache
  • reinstalled
  • restarted
  • i’ve let it sit forever and it does nothing
  • unblessed all devices

I just resubbed today and I’m hoping to use it for my upcoming game this week.

Have you tried running the app recently?

We performed some server-side emergency repairs about 13 hours ago while we investigated root cause to deploy a permanent fix. Despite this diagnostics suggest it did self-break and self-heal twice since then, but I just applied a bandaid which I believe should prevent the self-breaking while we work on the proper fix.

In short, we’re working on it, and if we understand the problem well enough, the apps should be working right now :crossed_fingers:

I am hoping this is “proper” fixed now, so anyone still experiencing a stuck splash screen for an extended period of time, (and just restarting the app once doesn’t fix it, in case you managed to just leave it broken since before the fix) let me know! :partying_face:
