Not so long ago we could press the stop button on the master online interface (https://syrinscape.com/online/master/#) and whatever moods or sound elements that were playing would gracefully fade to silence.
But now that same button abruptly cuts all sounds to silence. This is fine for some specific game moments but usually the abrupt cut to silence kills the immersion and draws (negative) attention to the sudden music cut.
I noticed that when I am playing a Mood, clicking on the Mood that is currently playing will more gracefully fade the sounds to silence than the stop button. This might be a workaround for some instances, but if I layer additional sounds to a Mood that is playing (in game) I need a way to gracefully fade everything that is playing (including the added sounds) to silence.
I also noticed that I can create a mood called “Silence” with one playing sound whose volume is turned all the way down. Switching to this fake “Silence” Mood gives me the graceful fade to silence that the stop button once did. This seems like a hacky workaround and not something I’d like to switch to long term if possible.
Is there a way to configure the Stop button to gracefully fade to silence (like it once did)? Maybe this could be a setting in the User Profile page. Or is there another workaround to get that graceful fade out that is better than the ones I detailed above?
I am using Windows 10, the Syrinscape Web Player, and Chrome (Version 139.0.7258.128 (Official Build) (64-bit))
Many thanks,
