Running Syrinscape (or attempting to) on PC, Windows 8.1. I just downloaded the Soundset creator, and after installing, clicked “run now”, but only got a little blue window that had a smudged icon, and said “waiting for UI”. I have since attempted all the things you’ve suggested in other posts with this issue, and have also tried shutdown, and relaunching it, have tried rebooting, and have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. It’s not blocked by either firewall or virus protection, and the other tools, (fantasy player, for example,) work fine. Any assistance you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
Hey @flashwitt,
Firstly, THANKS for your support as a sub! ‘’
Secondly, have you tried right clicking on the dark blue syrin in the tray and selecting “open ui”?

- hunt for goblins…
Let us know how you go with the manual start?
Thanks for getting back to me- and yes, I had tried selecting pretty much everything, at least once. lol But i did actually get it working. What worked for me, was to simply close my browser before launching it. (I use Firefox, so I’m not sure if this would help with any others.) Once my browser was closed, launching from the shortcut worked fine.
I do think it’s also probably useful to let anyone who’s having this problem from the start know that the set creator launches in a browser. I hadn’t been expecting that, so didn’t really know what to look for. Your product is terrific, your sub deal amazing, but I feel there’s a lot of room for growth in the documentation arena.
