At first I thought it was my setup what was to fault for this, but now I also tried at work and I get the exact same problem, so I don’t think my system is to fault. Perhaps it’s just me…
Anyways, my general feeling is that the moods are generally very low on volume compared to the oneshots. I understand that the general idea is to have moods in the background and oneshots more in the foreground, but I find I have to crank the individual mood sounds up to max on their individual bars to feel there’s any real sound at all (some sound sets are a lot worse than others from what I can tell) when the main volume slider is at a level where oneshots are ok. And if I adjust the main volume bar to where the moods volumelevel is acceptable (for me) and then click a oneshot sound, like firespell or whatnot, it’s really frikkin’ loud! Like WTFOMGLOLBEGEEZUZ! loud…
Is there any possibility of adjusting the volume of the oneshots too? I need either to be able to turn the oneshot volume down, or the mood volume up.
The problem is of such a magnitude I feel that I now have to resort to either:
- Use moods - scrap oneshots (It’ll make people shit themselves)
- Use oneshots - scrap moods (no one will hear them anyway.)
- Adjust volume between using moods and oneshots. (This micromanaging will kill my ability to DM.)
- Scrap syrinscape - it’s really not working for me…
