Someone build a RELAX app?

(anyone got time?)

A tiny Windows app…

Single button with RELAX printed on it.

The app sends a random URI to Syrinscape every 10-20 minutes starting one of the moods from the most relaxing SoundSets in the Fantasy Player:
Elven Vale Day/Night
Storm
Farmland
Mountain pass
High Seas
(any others?)

For the Fantasy one, how about also adding parts of the Flooded Cavern (Music in Massive Spaces) or Shimmering Veils (Shimmering Veils Ambiance).

If you want do one for the Sci-Fi player too, toss in the Wormhole (Meditations in Space), Nebula (Meditations in Space), Time Tunnel (Calm in the Wait), Running the Net (Floating in Virtual Space), Preserver Artifacts (Divine Beauty), and Alien Planet (Ethereal Density).

I have absolute zero app experience (I have never owned a smart phone or tablet), or I’d give it a go.

Yeah, those’d be good.

Anyone?

I can imagine it would take me about a day to do…

  • being tempted

Hmmm wonder if I could do this in HTML, been years since I tried anything like that. Might be worth a shot

Ooo… that’d be interesting… then anyone could got here without installing anything.

Can HTML send System URI calls?

There’s a question for Google!

Easy enough to do in Visual Studio. Just run Process.Start() with the uri as the parameter & it should run.

If I remember (& get the chance) I can whip up something tonight.

Done!

Download from here

It’s an exe & a text file. You can add new moods to the Playlist.txt file, with the URI & mood name separated by a comma.

It should play a mood for anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes, or you can press the button again to change moods.

Enjoy!

Cheers,
Jim.
