Shuts down when I try to download soundsets - WINDOWS 10

Ive been having some problems with Syrinscape since I first installed it which is a shame because it’s such an awesome program! First it would freeze and shut down whenever I tried typing which I fixed by reinstalling it. But now I’m faced with the issue that I can’t install new soundsets without it shutting down. Any suggestions would be appreciated!!

Both times it would stop and a popup that just said: Syrinscape.exe has stopped working.

So… do this:

  1. Uninstall Syrinscape
  2. Delete everything here:
    C:[YOURUSERNAMEHERE]\Ben\AppData\LocalLow\Syrinscape
    Where [YOURUSERNAMEHERE] is your user name
  3. Restart computer
  4. Reinstall Syrinscape
  5. Start it up, but DON’T download anything!
  6. Just let it sort out all it’s initial downloads
  7. Let me know how you go.

NOTE: There are LOTS of people using Syrinscape on Windows 10 at the moment, so if this doesn’t fix you up, then the next you’ll need to look for is something unique to your system.
