Seeking clarification on mood elements

Hi, I have done some research on this in older posts, but I’m still not fully sure I’ve got my head around this.

Is mood elements useful for setting different volume levels for the same element when it’s used in different moods?

If syncing the volume in the normal elements section does that change the starting volume for all uses of the element regardless of the mood that’s playing?

Setting the volume slider in the Mood Element inspector will change the volume of the element (that has focus) when it plays in ONLY the mood (that has focus).
