I’ve got a few wav files that are very short, around 1 second, intended to be used for one shots, but I need the sound to be precisely what the original file is, and not modified.
The sound itself is either a loud clack, two clacks, or a soft clack. When I listen to these before upload, they sound exactly as intended. When I upload them, the sound itself plays twice or echos even with the reverb set to off.
Anyone have any good tips on how to fix something like this?
You know, as someone that works in IT, I feel a little sheepish. After uploading and waiting a bit, I restarted the player, and the issue seems to have fixed itself. I’m guessing it was something to do with the way it was transcoding the sound.
