Will Nova support surround sound? If so, how?
One of my favorite things about Syrinscape is the clever use of lots of channels to throw sound around my games room. I installed 5.1 with Syrinscape in mind. It works great. In a spooky game, I’ve had players peering into the darkness behind them when a door creaks, or think the pattern of rain on the ceiling is real when it’s warm and dry outside.
Syrinscape has been shifting to a browser-based experience for years (an understandable), but as far as I’ve been able to work out, at some point modern browsers stopped outputting more than stereo, and therefore I haven’t been able to use the web/online player. I assume Nova will be the same.
I know browser sound output is out of your control. But perhaps there’s a plugin or integration that would enable it? Or a fix? Otherwise I can’t swing from the downloadable apps without nerfing my setup, and losing one of my favorite things about your awesome software.
