I am using windows 7, and I can get full 7.1 surround sound from the regular player by outputting with an hdmi cable to my receiver, but with the creator I only get sound from the left and right front speakers. I tried it with both using the creator with firefox and chrome and it but neither helped. Is there a button somewhere I haven’t found? (I know the player has a toggle to switch to 7.1)
The workaround I am currently using is that when I boot my laptop in linux (ubuntu) I can get the creator to work by using Wine and it correctly outputs in surround sound, though it seems to run rather slow but that could just be my laptop showing its age. However linux does not support the regular player itself even with wine. But at least for now I can build my soundsets while on my linux profile and just use the creator to play also (or swap back to windows for the player) so I have at least semi-solved my quirk. Now if only official Linux support shows up for the player I will be golden.

Yeah, that’s a missing bit from the UI so far.
