Music packs similar to Phandelver Heroes

Hello! I have really enjoyed using the “Phandelver Heroes” music throughout two or three campaigns now. The leitmotif
sprinkled throughout each track is fantastic, and it has made the campaign feel very cohesive.

There’s the epic intro music, calm strings, pipes, you name it. I’ve even got used to using the short version of one of those tracks to play as a sting when we come back from a short coffee break.

Are there other music packs like that in Syrinscape, where it’s several tracks that all have a similar vibe?

I am glad you like the thematic theme that I created for Phandelver.

If you are using the On Line Player, you should be able to easily find the other morsels of music I created for it and it’s eventual epic adventure “The Shattered Obelisk” To do so, go to the “library” and under the “samples” tab type (**music tso **).

tso = The Shattered Obelisk

I just tried this, only to find that it also finds music that I did for another adventure tsopl = The Sutra Of Pale Leave. If you scroll past these and only look for the tso then you will find the other tracks that have this heroic Phandelver theme.

You could also just go through the soundset of this adventure and pull them form the music elements there.

Thanks, @ominousbarry. Agree that it is great music.

To find background/accompaniment music of various styles as we build our own play lists for custom adventures, how are we to know what to search for without bugging you and other composers? Is there some indexing or categorization of all the different musical tracks? (The genre search certainly helps.) The best system would be for users to listen to everything ourselves first and be familiar with it all, but short of this…

A good question.

There is no official system on how to do this. I created my own way to help me find my effects and music with its own tagging system. That is in the sample search library with the words MUSIC and the project abbreviated name. (VEOR = vecna eve of ruin EFNY = escape from new your)

There is a music element system coming. I have grouped a lot of the music (that I could find) into soundset/elements. This is not live on the system at the moment. Possibly when the new version of the app is up, you will be able to access them just by searching “Music-” in soundset.

Until then, I’m afraid it is just listen to everything your selves. Copy the music into a soundset and look at the sample names. Hopefully there is the tagging attached in the name for you to find more of the same. Sorry
