I think this is probably a basic question but can’t find anything in the forum. I have a new computer and want to know the best way to move my downloaded soundsets and player to it. I’d like to avoid having to re-download everything.

So look here:
C:\Users[YOURUSENAMEHERE]\AppData\LocalLow\Syrinscape
You should be able to copy everything from here to the equivalent location on your new computer and the Syrinscape Players will pick that content up happily.

What if, hypothetically, one were using a Mac?
Looks like you will want to check out this directory:
~/Library/Application\ Support/com.syrinscape.SyrinscapeFantasyPlayer
Or something similar for the other Players
