I love the four PC soundsets currently available, and I wish there were some more. There’s lots of potential for a druid or a bard soundset, for example, and it would be nice to see some other weapons represented - like a battleaxe, a mace, a flail, or a whip.

If you want to carry on with the Pathfinder iconics, may I suggest Lem, Lini, Sajan and Harsk? As well as the bard, druid, monk and ranger spells and abilities (including bardic performance), this gives some interesting new weapons (sling, sickle, shuriken and battleaxe), along with the monk’s unarmed strike/flurry of blows, and a couple of animal companions. You could also consider adding other weapon/armour sounds to some of the characters without spells, or perhaps making a generic “weaponmaster” character.

Yeah, I’d like to have the Paizo staff as voice actors for the iconics! Unfortunately, I don’t really know what most of them sound like. Can you point me to any examples?
I was also thinking you could go another way with the soundsets - as well as (or instead of) more PC soundsets, you could have sets grouped by type - druid spells, ranged weapons, class abilities, etc. (I’d love to get an alchemist’s bomb…)
Hi @hanhighland, we are definitely up for doing more iconic soundsets and more character specific sets. They are on our list of things to do so watch this space! Likewise there are some great community sets out there now made by people with the Syrinscape Creator.
With regards to Paizo you should take a listen to Crystal Fraiser’s (genius developer) soundset ‘Creepy Shopkeeper’. It’s a fantastic example of how a soundsets can voice your NPCs. Take a listen to the demo of it here, it plays at 2:05, just after the demo of some other great community sets
For your Alchemist Bomb check out Shattering Explosion from the Modern Weapons set, that should suit you perfectly!
