Hi, since about 2 weeks now, every time i open the fantasy player or sci-fi player my ID is lost and i must re-enter my password. I use lastpass and i must go into the lastpass app to be able to copy/past it to the player. I know that sometime i could lose the ID but every time is a little bit annoying. Thanks for your help.

Syrinscape watches to see if it has been moved onto a different machine, ie the entire program and cache and everything cloned and shared.
One of the ways it does this is by creating a UUID from the machine’s config. This UUID can be changed by various different actions that plug things in/out fof the machine.

If you keep the machine exactly the same and start on consecutive days are you getting booted?

If you start Syrinscape with the machine in the SAME configuration as it was last time you started Syrinscape, does that help?

Thanks for your answer. I always use the players on the same PC. I don’t plug or unplug anything. But I use a lot of backup USB hard drives (about 8 of them, always plugged and with the same drive letters attributed). The only thing that is plugged and unplugged every day is the USB key of my daughter. So this PC is fairly always in the same configuration.
Just checking… what version of the App are you using. See the version number under the little Cog at the bottom left.

That’s 3 days in a row without this problem. So I guess it is no more a problem. Thanks for the help anyway and for all the Syrinscape wonders.
