So far, yes. I’ve only used it for one session, but I found that revealing the snippets is very easy in game. There is also a “Player Preview” window, where you can easily arrange images and text portions (click and drag, reveal with one click). I also use Mote (maptools) as a VTT and project our maps on the table, and both it and Realmworks utilize my 2nd monitor output. I was initially worried this would be hard to set up, but I found that Realmworks lets me turn on and off the Player Preview in one click, so cutting away to artwork or a handout is seamless with our battle grid.
What it doesn’t do well is reveal by the GM, and have players see it in their versions. You need to reveal, sync your campaign to the cloud, and then they need to sync on their end to see the new info. From reading the threads, it sounds like the player version wasn’t designed to be used in real time at the table, but more for researching what was already revealed (or reading up outside of game time). The program also time stamps when you revealed info, so players can go and see easily what was revealed during a session (great for if players miss a week).
What I really can’t wait for is the content market. I’m currently running two Pathfinder APs, and the one downside to Realmworks is that there is a TON of cutting/pasting in doing your gaming prep. However, once the content market launches, then 90% of the work will be done! However, before this I was doing this all in Excel, so this is light years better than that.
