Hello! I’m getting ready to run my players through a kitchen where a hill giant is trying to cook a meal. Are there any kitchen or cooking related sounds I can use?
Dawdle on over to the Sci-Fi player and thence over to the Coffee House 2015 - there are several cooking sounds there. The cooking and cooking-more elements have knife-sharpening and chopping sounds, amongst others. For an over you could use the fireplace element from Fantasy Player’s Friendly Tavern, or any of the elements in Elements - Fire for various cooking fires. Friendly Tavern also has mead glasses clinking (and Coffee House also has clinking glasses) for pots and dishes.
Also Mad Scientist’s Laboratory (Fantasy Player) has bubbling sounds and sizzles, for overflowing pots!
