I DM for a group of experienced D&D players. We’re playing 5th Edition at the moment and I’ve translated one of my favourite 1st Edition Ravenloft adventures to accommodate the new rules.
So, the party is travelling through a wood, known to be heavy in the wolf/werewolf/wolfwere department and I put on the wonderful Syrinscape soundset of Witchwood. Right at the point where the party get ambushed, there is an almighty wolf howl coming out of my speakers…right on cue. Scared the bejeebers out of the party! Perfect!
