In-person 7.1 surround set-up tips?

Hi all! New to Syrinscape so apologies in if this topic is a repeat. I did some searching through old threads and found related posts, but none with my question. In short:

What is your in-person surround sound set-up that you use with Syrinscape?

For context: I’m building out a surround system for a new game and it looks like Syrinscape might be a great match for what I’m imagining. But I can’t seem to find much that explains what’s needed to drive it to my AVR (iPad? PC laptop? Simple USB? Only HDMI from specific operating systems? External sound card?).

So I’m hoping anyone who’s currently piping Syrinscape into their home system can offer some tips!

Yeah, I’m HDMI out of a laptop that actually DOES HDMI = not all of them do.

It does sound pretty darn sweeeeet!

AND I project my maps down onto the table from above which is pretty cool.
