How can I tell what's playing as part of a Custom Mood?

Hello! I’ve put together a bunch of custom moods for my first session, and while it’s annoying that they didn’t upload between my Desktop and Laptop (i found other threads about that), there are SOOO many sound sets that I can’t tell which one is playing.

Here is how I made them: I thought about the type of music/sounds I wanted for a particular scene/battle/whatever, turned on the Enigmatic Silence so i could save it to the mood, then used the search bar to search all kinds of things, starting/stopping sounds 1 at a time to see if they fit into the mood i wanted. When I was happy with it, i clicked the + and saved it as the mood I was working on.

Now that they are created, once I start the mood, how do I tell what else is playing from the other sets without clicking into each set? The only alternative I saw was to essentially write down each set as I approved it, then set up sets in a campaign, but really that just lowers the search for what’s playing. I could use the creator, but that’s even more items, and i’m not familiar enough with that yet (and i didn’t see sound sets in there, but maybe I missed them).

At this point your method is the only one available to tell what is playing, as annoying as it may seem. The Custom Moods are no solution for complex soundsets, more of a method to get some often used sounds bundled together for easy playback.
The solution you’re looking for is the Creator, as you already figured out. It provides the flexibility and the overview you need. And trust me - it is not as complicated as it may seem at first. In fact it’s rather easy to use, once you figured out the basics. You should check out the tutorials and the Pro-Tips section on the forums to avoid common mistakes. But once you are familiar with it, you won’t use the Custom Moods anymore. Trust me on this!

Thanks!

That’s about what i expected. I wanted to both check on if there was something I was missing and explain clearly what i was doing and how so that other people searching for a similar thing can find it. I did some searching and didn’t see anything for this particular thing.

I do believe you on the Creator! It was an unknown for preparing things for my first session this afternoon, so i didn’t try it past the few minutes I spent with it before. We are playing every other week, so I’ll have time between this and the next session to take a look.

Thanks for the quick response!

Anytime. And - make sure you watch the tutorials! They are not too long and cover everything you need to know.
