Getting a sox.exe window that keeps closing and opening repeatedly - FIXED

Hello,

I uploaded some of my own music and a window kept opening and closing repeatedly for a little bit, before it finally stopped. Later, I uploaded more of my own sound files and now the window won’t quit opening/closing. I have shutdown the program, closed the program, restarted my computer, and the window is still doing this despite me restarting.
The window that is doing it is the C:\PROGA~2\Syrins~2\vendor\sox.sox.exe

As in it’s keeping going and going and going?

It’s normal (though a bit weird) that it pops up once for each sample when you are importing…

…but it should then stop after that.

Sox is the external program that the system starts up to transcode samples from the format you import to something the Creator can upload to our server.

NOTE: At the moment, make sure your samples are Wav 44.1K 16bit with NO meta data

Have you seen the Syrinscape SoundSet Creator tutorial videos on YouTube?

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand also… THANKS for supporting us as a SuperSyrin!!! :lollipop:

I have. It just kept going and going for over an hour, and yes, I make sure it is properly formatted and removed of all meta data. It did finally stop itself. It could be that there were just so many samples I did at once (although they were short). Thanks for replying, I will definitely not load that many at once again.

Wow!

Cool, I’m glad it stopped in the end.

I guess, with the combo of: not super computer + lots of samples = it will go for ages.

When we push the server activity online this weird ‘feature’ will disappear permanently.

In the meantime… SORRY about that!
