Hi all,

We’ve created a new way for people to opt-in on testing new and experimental features for Syrinscape.

Simply drop by here and check the Experimental Features checkbox.
https://syrinscape.com/account/profile/

Once you’ve done that, new things we are testing will switch on for your account automatically, AND you’ll be able to see the Experimental Features category on the forums.

At the moment we are testing our new shiny elastic search in the Master UI of the Online Player, a very useful and long asked-for addition, indeed.

There’ll be some other really useful (and exciting) things coming to Syrinscape in the near future and we don’t want you to miss out on playing with them as soon as possible.

Question about the experimental features…

If we check the experimental features for out Syrinscape Online, do all the players that connect to us have to check the experimental features too? Just making sure that there aren’t any unintended consequences due to trying it out (such as problems with the host and players being on different flavors of the system). Thanks.

Good question, but there are no problems here, the experimental features are turned on only for your account, but do not cause any compatibility issues if you choose to play with someone who does not have them on :slight_smile:
