Most ttrpg sites now have an encounter builder to test out the baddies that you want to throw up against your players. An encounter builder on this amazing soundset site would be amazing. Drag and drop combined with a search function would be an amazingly helpful way for me to build my encounter then, while i am inspired ,I can create a soundset with specific sounds like a beholder or dragon, with options for a thunderstorm and lightning to amp up the drama. Or , even better, I could build the encounter on this site and using the monsters i select and terrain that its in, it would automatically populate a soundset that I could tinker with.
You could create your own custom mood and add whatever soud effects or music you like to build your encounter. It works great.
Hiya @janzenmr,
Yes, this is a good idea, and one we’ve been tossing around here for a while = we’d really like to keep the lovely strong customization capabilities that currently exist in the Web Player, but ALSO create some MUCH more simple ways of getting sound super quick.
We are in the middle of a BIG rebuild of our payment platform right now, but plan to spend a bit more on the above things in the next(ish) times.
In the meantime, check out this vid where I show how I go about doing what you are needing AND what @scarabeus is talking about:
How does that work for you?
