Hello Syrinscape Team,
As I have been prepping for Masks of Nyarlathotep I have been listening to the H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society’s Dark Adventure Radio Theatre version of Masks and can’t help but notice that they have a lot of really great sound effect and ambient background noises for each of the locations.
I am a lifetime member of the society but I’m in no way an official representative of them… but I figure since they have a limited license from Chaosium the same way Syrinscape does with the soundscapes, would there be any way that you could reach out to them and see if they would let you use some of the audio that they already have the rights for?
I figure with how monstrously big this campaign is, that any help speeding up the process of making and creating the soundscapes would be a great help. Better than recreating the wheel for some of these locations.
