Call of Cthulhu Starter Set Soundscapes

Hi there,

I’ve been a subscriber since 2020. I use these soundscapes weekly and really enjoy the immersion they help create. I’ve been trying to get my players to branch out in systems recently and found that Call of Cthulhu and Mothership have scratched that itch.

The former is a system that’s heavily supported here. I am surprised after searching that there isn’t a starter set soundscape, as many people tend to check out these first when exploring a new ruleset. I searched on the forums, too, and it boggles my mind that I didn’t find a suggestion for this already.

Would the team consider assembling three soundsets for book three of the starter set, ‘Paper Chase and Other Adventures’? The scenarios are:

Paper Chase
Edge of Darkness
Dead Man Stomp

And as a bonus, possibly a soundset for the solo adventure in book one of the set ‘Alone Against the Flames’?

I would add that there are a lot of existing soundscapes that would work for elements in Paper Chase and Other Adventures but having them all referenced in one set would really help with the user experience when running the game.

Likely current sounds and moods can be combined into a campaign to make what you need! What locations, moods, monsters, etc. do you need?
