Are there quick weather elements I can add to my soundset?

Hey guys, I am new to the interface and currently running both Icespire Peak and Rime of the Frostmaiden. I had been using Tabletop Audio, which I love, but I saw that this had official sound sets so I wanted to give it a try. So far, I have run one session of each and overall, it has been positive, except for one issue I have found that I need help with. I imagine it is probably me being new so I figured I would seek out help here. I have found dealing with changes in weather to be tough using this platform. Tabletop Audio has some quick element buttons to add rain/wind/mood to any sound you are currently running, and I am finding issues with Syrinscape in this regard. Is there really no way to just have element buttons for rain, etc, on my sound sets without having to duplicate the whole sound set, go through each mood, duplicate that mood and add rain to it? That seems like a very monotonous endeavor to have to make duplicates of every mood you want to add weather or other small changes to, so I am hoping there is an easier way. Same goes with ambient music to start a session, although not near as big of a deal for me. Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Yay! Glad you are giving Syrinscape a try.

Sounds like you are using the Web Player, right?

Approach one: use search to filter by the right kind of thing (probably loop for rain) type “rain” simply turn that on each time you start a Mood that you want to add rain to (same with other things).

Approach two: find the elements you want to add. Turn on Show Remote Control Links. And copy the links you need by clicking the little play buttons that appear. Now keep these links somewhere (they start JUST one element without stopping anything else from playing). I put mine on my Streamdeck (as a Website (GET request in background) button. Then each time you start a Mood in the official content that you want RAIN with, just wait a sec for the mood to start and then click your RAIN button to get that rain going over the top. You could also make a directory of Windows Shortcuts in a folder of your desktop to get a similar effect.

Let me know if ANY of that makes any sense at all…

Aaaaaaalso… you maaaaaay be VERY interested in the up-and-coming-new-shiny-thing that we have in the works which sounds like it works a bit more like you are thinking about sound. Make sure you’ll selected that “experimental features” on your profile page to hear about that as soon as it is ready to try. :fire:

Either way… GAME ON!
