I have a TPK coming up, if the party sacrifices themselves to save the city. Any suggestions for an afterlife soundset? Obviously they’ll feel the pull of resurrection or raise dead spells trying to bring them back as the city is so thankful as I’m not a complete monster planning a permanent TPK.
After I posted this I gave it some thought and started building my own. Here is what I got:
Bell Monk Temple:
-Drone
-Bell Monk One
-Bell Monk Two
-Bell Monk Three
Camping Ambiance:
-Eagle Call
-Gentle Waves
-Cave Wind
Meditative Harp:
-Uplifting
Temple of the Healing Hand:
-Temple Choir
Took a while to find the right mix of sound levels but once I got there it sounds awesome.

Can I steal these ideas and build an official Afterlife SoundSet for everybody?
Imagining all these sounds together makes me think it will sound sweeeet!

I recommend starting with the vibe you want to set. What do you picture for an afterlife? Do you want it to be heavenly and peaceful, or hellish and tormenting? Could also be a state of limbo, neither good or bad. Maybe you want it to be mystical and almost otherworldly. I can think of so many sound sets that can fit for an afterlife, but need to know your vision of the afterlife for your game toale more precise recommendations.
