So I’ve created a custom Soundset. Then I go to the search panel and find a sound i want to add to my Soundset. This sound has a ‘+’ beside it so i assume it is available for me to add. i click the + and the wheel spins like something is happening but i don’t see the sound anywhere in my custom Soundset. yes, i am in my custom Soundset when I try to do this. Yes I do have a subscription. Where is the sound going? How do I properly incorporate it into my Soundset?
So depending what you are adding from Search it will do a different kind of thing.
Mood
Adding a mood will add that mood to the mood list on the far left AND add ALL elements needed to play that mood into your SoundSet.
Element
Adding an Element will add just that element into your current SoundSet. It will appear last. You can drag it to where you want it. Maybe do a page refresh to check that drag. You can now start that Element along with other elements and write that as a new Mood in your SoundSet.
Note: For Moods and Elements, the (+) only appears if you have a SoundSet selected, and you have permission to edit it.
Sample
Hitting + on a sample in search will add that single sample into the Playlist of and Element you currently have selected. (If you DON’T have an Element selected, I think it does nothing).
Note: For SoundSamples, the (+) only appears if you have an Element selected, and you have permission to edit it.
Also note: you can filter search by, Mood, or Element, or sample.
Hope some of that makes sense?!?! Ask more questions as needed!
Also: note this playlist of tutorials that might also help…
Thanks Ben! The big revelation for me here was that clicking ‘+’ doesn’t insert a new element into your list of elements. Instead, it inserts a new sound into the currently selected element. If you have an element selected that already has a sound, the new sound will be added to the element and that element will now have both sounds. So if you want just the new sound, you need to create a new blank element first, then click +, label the sound and go.
