That is great! But Benji just a friendly piece of advive: Put more time on your schedules. That way you can positively surprise people, that itās already done.
Yep!!!
Sorry everybody!
Everything was looking so good to get it doneā¦ but alas, Christmas is something i have to let me hard working coders enjoy, even if it means disappointing you guys!
Theyāll be back on the 4th, and it shouldnāt be long after that.
There were just a couple of blocking bugs that they didnāt managed to resolve.
if youāre interested, they were:
- A bug, where if you changed a slider and flipped onto a new element, the new element showed you the value youād just change to, rather than the correct value for the newly focused element.
- Our new āSet mood to current stateā button, wasnāt yet updating the ELEMENT MOOD Inspector for elements in the mood.
Both these little ones make working on SoundSets a bit confusing, in such a way I didnāt wish to inflict on my users!
Thanks for the update Ben. Hope you all have a great Christmas break and hopefully those bugs will get squashed when you all get back
Just checking in. How is the bug hunting going? Looking forward to using all my star wars sounds soon.
Any news? Iāve read elsewhere 18th January is new release date. Is it confirmed or will there be another delay?
Getting thereā¦ progress is slow and frustrating atm.
Little things have turned into slightly bigger things (cloud hosting)ā¦ which have turned into opportunities to include a few more fixes along the way (Really getting things fast and right)ā¦
ADDING into that, general January absences of a few key people and weāve got extended delays.
Ahhhhā¦ development! Sorry!
We are going to try and pick a REALLY solid date, one with a bit of leeway, that we can definitly hit, and then let you know.
STAY ON TARGET!!!
Thanks for the update Ben and keep up the good work. We really appreciate all the hours you and the team are putting in. When this is over you all deserve and
Well, as itās going to take a bit longer until you release it, I was wondering that it would be nice to add a decent MP3 Cutter together with the Sound Set Creator. I have tons of files that are not entirely suitable for some scenes xP
Well, those are my 2 cents, hope you take them in consideration!
Looking forward to the full version. Cheers
OK. Brand new (totally conservative and hittable) date for releaseā¦
ā¦Feb 2016.
WE WILL NOT MISS THIS ONE!!!
What there will be, will be LOTS of really useful demo videos of how to use FREE downloadable editing programs to prepare/convert/master/enhance samples ready for import and use in the Creator.
Iāve already made oneā¦
ā¦let me find itā¦
You showed us a picture of a Dolphin so I have every faith

Main thing is that your totally happy with it before itās released. Itās a big project and we appreciate that.
11 days left of februaryā¦
Any news?
I reckon we are going to be good for the end of next week! At the very least weāve been working on a version we can give to the few folks on this thread, and a few other loyal beta testers.
We really feel like we have broken the back on it now!!!
Slow going though!
I got to use the Creator with lots of the Paizo Staff while I was in the US (which you probably saw on our Facebook and Twitter etc). It worked well.
Thereās actually going to be quite a lot of good content in the Sharing community, right from day oneā¦ which is cool!
(amazing stuff from James Jacobs, Jason Bulmahn, Wes Schneider, Chris Pramas and more)
Awesome news! Thank you Ben.
Excellent News Ben!!!. Iām stoked to give this a whirl.
Itās getting towards the end of the week and I bet the whole Dev team are working flat out getting things sorted. Just to say thanks for all the hard work hereās a plate of and to keep you all going and a * for the first one to finish it!
*(note you will need to collect the dolphin as postage to Australia is ridicules!)
Yea I cannot wait as well! I decided to take the plunge back in November and Syrinscape has become such a part of my weekly games at home and online, my players wonāt play without it running. To be able to bring the creator in and use it will be such a big upgrade in immersion!
completely agreeā¦
we started using Syrinscape a number of months ago, and my players almost refuse to roll dice without it running.
looking forward to trying the creator out, and harmonizing all my different music sets into one app that I can share with all my devices.
I agree these have added a great aspect to my game but I think my patience is about done. Waiting for the creator so I can have the one shot sound effects were I can find them has gotten tiresome. I used Battlebards sounds this weekend and it was pretty awesome and very customizable. I am considering giving up on Syrinscape.
