Fantasy Grounds wants to know what sound programs we use

Ben,

Fantasy Grounds asked what sound program, if any we use. https://plus.google.com/+Fantasygrounds/posts/RaVicGLdBVZ . I know they’re working on the next iteration of FG and has acquired Tabletop Connect https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?26242-SmiteWorks-is-growing!-We-have-acquired-Tabletop-Connect

I know a few people have given a shout out to Syrinscape as their player, if you haven’t already, reach out to them so we can have Syrinscape integrated in the next version of Fantasy Grounds.

I’ve seen people’s posts on the Fantasygrounds discussion… this sort of personal recommendation is worth sooooo much more than just about any marketing work that we do.

Basically, you guys are helping to make Syrinscape survive and thrive! The cool thing is the better things go for Syrinscape as a company = the more cool stuff we can get done. (like the remote controllable Players for Online play that I’d love to get done asap).

So thanks @GM_Cody_D and everyone else who gives us support in public!

@benjamin Not sure how familiar you are with Fantasy Grounds and the way it work, but David at Table Top Gaming has some great tutorials that helped me choose FG as my VTT of choice. If you’re unfamiliar with him or Fantasy Grounds, check out his tutorials. Most of them are under 10 minutes. I keep his tutorials on hand to re-familiarize myself with what I’m attempting to do and to pass along to people who are unfamiliar with FG.

I plan on using the TS Thread to set everything up. Which the great thing is, FG uses TS for FGDaze and FG Con.

Hey Cody, thanks for posting those links up. I own FG and use it to GM my local game (networked to a touchscreen display for the players at the table) but I’ve never actually used it for online gaming so I still need to learn how to properly use it. I really want to play an online game but have never been brave enough or confident enough of my FG skills to join one!! :blush:

Really hoping though that the next iteration of FG does integrate Syrinscape into it as that would make gaming so much easier!

[/quote] I’m the exact same way. I’m not even confident as a player, despite his videos. Ha! But with those tutorial videos, and seeing the power in FG, I’m eager to get into a good game with a GM who’s fully comfortable with FG and using it to it’s full potential.

After reading UNPLUGGED: COMPUTER ASSISTED RPGS I’ve been working towards finding great ways to integrate all of these tools to enhance potential online play. So I’m anxiously awaiting FG’s next version of the VTT so that these tools can integrate a lot better.

I could get on board with that. My mind is already working with potential ideas, but the roadblocks are already being set in place as well. :grinning:

Well I have the unlimited version so in theory could host for four players and all they would need is a free demo copy. Might be a while though before I’d be comfortable enough to run. Ideally need to play first and see how the app runs.

Like you say lots or roadblocks but we just need to figure a way around them. I wonder if anyone else here would be on board? Would be great if we could convince Ben to run for us but I very much doubt he has the time! Lol :grin:
